Today, when A woke from his morning nap, he had a tooth! #24 central incisor came with little fan fare- other than drooling for the past seven months. But tonight he is inconsolable. Tired, grouchy and tearful and not at all looking like he does in this photo. Boo. Tylenol, take me away!

Tonight the gang- plus Sammy, Debb's niece- went to the Lake Oswego Art Festival and then out for dinner at Spaghetti Factory. Aidan played with his menu for a solid two hours!

HOORAY for larokeets! I was brave and took the boys into the exhibit. We did not pay a dollar for the 'nectar'. Still, we got dive-bombed, screetched at and saw some very beautiful birds- (we decided we wouldn't tell Ray and Ruth Ann (our brown housefinches at home).

Hank wakes up as Aidan checks the pressure. Today at the zoo, we had a flat. I asked security if they had a bike pump- and they said they had just the ticket! Up rolls this nice guy in a golf cart with a giant air compressor onboard. He told me we just made it possible for him to keep it in the tool shed- never know when a lady is gonna get a flat tire on her BOB!

Sometimes, when little Ocho wakes up in the middle of the night, he just wants to hang and talk to his mama. This baby is deee-licious!

Later in the day, Grandma came over to visit, play and record the musings of Aidan.

So Henry had a lot to say today. Once he gets started he can talk extensively on topics such as the view, opb show listings, his brother's relationship to the howler monkey, the size of the foot compared to the size of the shoe, toe lint, the weather, contents of sunscreen, how much milk a person should drink, travel to foriegn lands... just about anything really!

Hey I found Henry again! Aidan loves Hen- he loves his mouth and his feet- with or without shoes. He especially loves his carseat and often tries to get in it himself- of course when its unoccupied.

This young man shines like the sun when you ask him questions. I asked him if he wanted to hit the road- so, I took this reaction as a yes. Today we're going to camp for the first time!! Look out Jack Hannah- Henry is after your job in this tight looking safari suit!

Today we met Bri and Angie and Angie and Shirod and Nicole and Sara and Willa for the Camp kick off lunch! We ate sushi while Henry rested and Aidan sang haunting songs of goats and monsters. Notice Henry planning his escape as Bri looks on.

This evening at Buster's Aidan bellied up to the bar- and didn't quite understand why he didn't get any bar-b-q. He did try his first potato- though!

friday is zoo day!

Mom and BOB took the boys to the zoo for the first time ever! We heard as we entered the gates that 4000 school children were expected to come to the zoo today. Yeah. We heard a lot of screaming in the elephant shelter as two pachyderm peed in unison, heard the story of how Silas thought the wart hog was an ant eater and why- and watched as Daniel climbed over the fence and into the Tiger exhibit as his dad stood nearby talking with other chaperones for a school identified by tie-dyed t-shirts. It was great. (Here, Aidan shows you his giraffe.)

Aidan reacted mostly to the fish and the gibbons today. Hmmmm. Well, we got a membership so we will see if that changes next Friday.

jan and tracy came to visit on henry's 2 month birthday!

On Sunday Jan, Tracy, Cassanova and Sydney came up for a visit. We had lunch outside, watched dogs play and wrangled babies for a time. Here you see Jan devoting herself to both of HER babies.

today we did two fun things!

Dad and the BOB took us to a fountain and a Farmer's Market and later...



We played with all Victoria's cool toys- and she didn't care a bit! Later we all ate outside at Uncle Jay & Auntie Monique's new table and then Aidan decided to drink from a sippy cup and pull himself up- all in one night!
